This dairy-free, nut-free basil spinach pesto is quick, flavorful and perfect for pasta, veggies, and more ready in 10 minutes!
Ingredients

2 cups fresh basil
1 cup fresh spinach
1/2 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled
Juice + Zest from 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the basil and spinach. Peel the garlic cloves and zest the lemon.
- In a food processor or blender, combine basil, spinach, garlic, lemon juice and zest, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper.
- Pulse to combine, then slowly drizzle in olive oil until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
