Description
Fresh and creamy lactose-free tzatziki with parsley & cilantro—perfect for dipping or as a flavorful sauce. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients
1 cup lactose-free greek yogurt (I used the Fage brand)
1/2 lemon (juice & zest)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup fresh dill
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup VERY thinly sliced cucumber
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, 1/4 tsp salt, garlic powder, onion powder, fresh dill, and cucumber, saving a few cucumber slices for topping. Stir well.
- In a blender, combine 1/4 tsp salt, parsley, cilantro, minced garlic, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
- Either top the yogurt mixture with the herb mixture for a layered look or combine them together.
- Finish with lemon zest and the reserved cucumber slices. Serve with pita or veggies and enjoy!
